SUMMARY:9th Annual Tahoe Film Fest
DESCRIPTION:Tahoe Film Fest screens a premiere selection of environmental films in the program. We try to locate new and important environmental films to showcase as a way of educating our young people and celebrating the efforts of everyone who helps to maintain the beauty of such a pristine lake and its surroundings. Tahoe Film Fest also celebrates a selection of important American Independent Films, new films from Latin America, and award-winning music documentaries. The annual Tahoe Film Fest brings many award-winning films to North Lake Tahoe with special guests and filmmakers introducing several of the films. All proceeds from Tahoe Film Fest ticket sales benefit science education at Lake Tahoe through the UC Davis Tahoe Environmental Research Center (TERC).
